Tottles was described as a confectioner. This term could refer to sweets or 'fancy cakes'. The records indicate that Violet Tottle took over from William Tottle in the mid 1950s and was there until about 1971. The St George Butchers then used these premises. In 2001 the shop became a computer repair shop, before being turned into a residential dwelling.
